Scandinavian inspiration

ebelskivers have been a family favorite for years!

This year I want to change up my Christmas decor and add some Scandinavian traditions. My husband and I both have Scandinavian heritage so it is no wonder I absolutely love this style! My family on my mom's side comes from Norway and Denmark and my husband's father's side is from Sweden. I have always appreciated Scandinavian things. The style so simple, fresh and classic. I think traditions that have come from our ancestors will add meaning to our Christmas. To me there is something special about sharing these, a kind of connection to those that have passed. Take a look at some of my inspiration pictures.

This picture makes my heart beat faster every time I look at it. Heck, all of these do!

Love the blue/gray walls with the green roman shades and white trim...

I'm drawn to the softer greens with the true red

this rug is a favorite

I wish i could jump into this picture! Remember, they do it on Mary Poppins?
