I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite recipes. This is a family favorite. It comes from my mother-in-law. It is a way easy slow-cooker recipe.
Slow-Cooked Pepper Steak
Makes 6-8 servings
2 lbs beef round steak, cut in 3" x 1" strips ( I have also used stew meat and it turns out great)

1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chopped onions
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 large green pepper cut in strips
3 cups water
2-4 T Cornstarch
Put steak strips, onions, sugar, salt and pepper
in crock pot, stir. Add water.
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Add green peppers. Cook for another 1/2 hour
Combine soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir in
to thicken for gravy. Cook on High for about 10 minutes.
Serve over mashed potatoes.
