A rainy day at home

When I was a child and it was a rainy day my mom would let me play with the "Rainy Day Chest". This is a special chest full of miniature things. This is a tradition that I think my Grandma Ethel started. My mom, and I'm pretty sure her two sisters, Becky and Norma have "Rainy Day Chests" too. I absolutely LOVED to play with all of the miniature toys, tea sets, puzzles, etc. When I became a mom I had to have my own "Rainy Day Chest". I looked for along time until I found the perfect chest. I got one quite a bit larger than my mom's and aunt's so I would be sure to have enough room for all of the miniature items I would collect throughout my life. So below you will see Isabel, Oliver, and James playing with the "Rainy Day Chest" on a rainy day at my house. I hope they enjoy the "Rainy Day Chest" as much as I do!

James isn't quite ready for "miniature" toys so he took a little snooze on the couch.
